About Us

We are a genuine “mom and pop” business – Our staff includes two people, me and my wife.

Painting & decal, split ring, hooks, package, order packing, shipping, inventory, website maintenance, social media presence, communications, etc  – all done by us.  Add to that my other business – Carlson’s Fish Taxidermy.

All of that to say with all of these moving parts, sometimes mistakes happen. This is why they put erasers on pencils!

Missing an item in your shipment? No problem – Just let us know and we will make it right!
Have an issue with paint? No problem – Just let us know and we will make it right!

Being a small company, every interaction matters to us. It’s not worth it for us to ruin our reputation over a couple dollar piece of fishing gear.

We are located in good ol’ Thorndike Maine, USA.

Do You Have a Retail Store? Can I pick up my order?

We DO NOT retail out of our workshop. Why? Well, to be honest this space is primarily used for lure painting/inventory for our website and wholesale sales, as well as my fish taxidermy workshop…so 90% of time it looks like a bomb blew off in there.   We kindly ask that you use our website, or visit a local retail shop to pick up your items.

Can you paint a custom color?

Of course! We are happy to do custom paints or tapes on any of our spoons. Some of our favorite patterns have started from doing custom paints for customers. I ask that you commit to 6 of the same color pattern.   Just contact us for more info.

Your custom pattern will not end up on the website/Facebook without your permission (we’ve done a number of “secret squirrel” patterns over the years)
